A local school administrator was recently named the winner of an academic achievement award.
JoLynn Clouse is the principal at St. Wendelin Catholic School in Herman and just won a Golden Apple Award.
“I was not prepared for this news,” she told the Pittsburgh Catholic. “It’s humbling, and also validation that our school is thriving. It takes a whole village to make this school. I’ve just been a piece of that.”
The honor recognizes teachers and administrators for their work in the classroom, church, and community.
Clouse has been the principal at St. Wendelin’s since 2011.
