A couple of local groups are asking for feedback from the public in order to help communities that lack full-service grocery stores.
Penn State Extension and Community Action Partnership of Butler County have launched a survey in order to find out what kind of products people would buy from a mobile farmers market.
The Produce Cart will launch in the spring with a staple of locally grown vegetables available for purchase year round. Other products will be stocked on a rotating basis based on season and community desire. The Produce Cart will accept Fresh Bucks and make recipes available.
This survey can be accessed online beginning tomorrow and continuing through November 25th.
