A law proposed by a local state representative would allow any legal gun owner to concealed carry and allow visitors from other states to concealed carry in Pennsylvania.
State Representative Aaron Bernstine (R-Butler/Lawrence) has proposed a law that would eliminate the requirement for Pennsylvanians to obtain a permit to carry a concealed firearm.
It will also have Pennsylvania create the License to Carry a Firearm permit that is voluntary and would allow visitors from 32 other states to concealed carry in Pennsylvania.
The law has been referred to the House Judiciary Committee before a house vote.
