A local man is facing charges following an incident that occurred last week in Eau Claire.
According to State Police, 24-year-old Jordan Walters of Butler is accused of entering into a home on Gibson Street Extension around 2pm on Tuesday (August 1st) when the home was unoccupied.
Authorities say that Walters then took car keys from within the home and stole an SUV that was parked in the driveway. Police later located the vehicle at a local car wash.
Officials say that Walters had been warned in the past that he is not permitted at the residence.
A full list of the filed charges was not immediately available.
