A local man is facing charges including a felony in connection with incidents that occurred last month in Bruin Borough.
According to a criminal complaint filed by State Police, 27-year-old Evan Andreassi of Butler stands accused of charges including criminal trespass, stalking, and harassment.
A woman reported to police that Andreassi attempted to date her in high school but when she rejected him, he became increasingly aggressive. Andreassi allegedly stalked the woman at her workplace, followed her home and visited her house at least five times.
Andreassi then allegedly entered her home without permission on March 8th and refused to leave for a half hour even after she retrieved a gun. Since that time, Andreassi’s repeated appearance at the woman’s work has caused her to hide in a backroom to avoid him.
Andreassi will be subpoenaed to answer to the charges before the case would move to trial.
