A couple of local nonprofit institutions have received recognition for providing programs and services to southern Butler County families.
The Cranberry Public Library has been honored as a Community Champion by the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber.
In spite of pandemic restrictions, library staff has continued to serve patrons with resources beyond books such as community presentations as well as gatherings focused on health and diversity.
Glade Run Lutheran Services has also been named as a Community Champion for their addition of new programming over the past year including an After School Enrichment program, Day Treatment for students in the region, and Community Monitoring and Support.
