A local organization is looking for residents to help out with an effort to improve the appearance of neighborhoods in Butler City.
The City’s Shade Tree Commission is launching a Neighborhood Clean Up Program designed to match older or disabled residents with volunteers able to assist.
This program will continue through the end of September with the goal of fostering stronger community relationships while improving the appearance of city neighborhoods.
Volunteers can submit a form at the City Building while City residents seeking help should be at least 60 years old or have a disability with those forms also available at the City Building.
