A recent study shows the tourism industry in Butler County continues to grow.
According to Experience Butler County, a study found visitor spending in the county increased by over $25 million from 2024 to 2025.
Visitor spending in the county totaled nearly $794 million with the categories of highest visitor spending being transportation along with food and beverage followed by recreation and retail spending.
This comes as Pennsylvania also saw a continued increase in tourism spending, with officials estimating that the tourism industry had an economic impact of over $87 billion in 2025 with over $5 million in tax revenue and over 520,000 jobs supported.
