A local woman has entered a guilty plea following arrests made last year by Pennsylvania’s Office of the Attorney General and the Butler County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force.
According to Attorney General Josh Shapiro, Desirae Feitl recently pled guilty to one count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Sentencing will take place sometime in January.
Feitl, Quinzal Powell, Jodi Shirey, Brandi Zediker, and Crystal Pakutz were charged in April of 2021 with mass distribution and trafficking of heroin and fentanyl from Philadelphia to Butler County from January to October of 2020 resulting in some local overdose deaths.
The group was allegedly responsible for transporting a kilo of drugs for resale in Butler County with a street value of about $400,000. Butler City Police, the Butler Township Police, the Penn Township Police, and the Butler County Sheriff’s Department assisted in this investigation.
