A well-known southern Butler County custard shop owner has passed away after getting sick with COVID-19.
Young’s Custard Stand recently posted to their Facebook page that Paul “Windy” Young lost a relatively brief battle with the virus last Thursday.
According to our news partners at WPXI-TV News, residents from around the Zelienople area have been dropping off flowers, candles, balloons, and cards at the stand on Hartzell School Road.
Young ran the business with his children for the last 52 years. Paul Young was 79 years old.
