Mail-in ballots have been sent out to voters in Butler County.
Director of Elections Chantell McCurdy said over 15,000 voters have requested a mail-in ballot.
McCurdy says you should move quickly once you receive your mail-in ballot.
“I would fill out the ballot, and as soon as you are finished, get the ballot sent back to the elections office. That way you know you’re in the clear,” McCurdy said.
You can also request a mail-in ballot through next Tuesday, although McCurdy urges anyone interested in voting by mail to apply quicker than that.
Mail-in ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
