The Foxburg Area Water and Sewer Authority will be receiving major upgrades following a state grant.
The authority received over $5 million in grants and loans to help build a new water treatment plant. It will be constructed next to the current facility.
Officials say the entire water distribution system will also be replaced.
More than half of the project will be covered by grant funding.
No timeline was available on the project.
