A man is facing charges after he was accused of assaulting a woman in Penn Township.
On Saturday, State Police were called to Butler Memorial Hospital to speak with a victim of an assault.
The victim told police she kicked 25-year-old Josiah Flores of Huntingdon out of her home.
After coming back to the house, Flores broke down a door then assaulted and strangled the victim. Injuries included bruising, broken ribs, and a broken clavicle.
Flores also allegedly took the victim’s phone and other devices to prevent her from contacting the police or medical aid.
Flores is facing several charges such as aggravated assault, burglary, strangulation and more.
He’s currently awaiting a preliminary hearing.
