A Butler man accused of attempting to ignite a state police vehicle pled guilty and was sentenced late last week.
On Thursday, 31-year-old Shane Everetts pled to recklessly endangering another person and evading arrest.
Charging documents accused Everetts of leading police on a foot chase around a police cruiser that was sitting at a red light on West Cunningham Street in September.
Everetts is also accused of attempting to throw a match in the gas tank of the vehicle.
He was sentenced to 12 to 36 months in prison along with 12 months of probation.
