An Edinburg man is facing charges after he allegedly threatened to kill a woman, her father, and police officers on scene.
Slippery Rock Police were called to the Madison Grove apartments on Tuesday for a man yelling and pounding on a door. When police arrived the identified the man as 42-year-old Carl Antoniazzi.
Charging documents do not say why Antoniazzi was at the apartment but the caller in the apartment felt threatened and had their children in the home.
While trying to deescalate the situation, police asked Antoniazzi to leave the scene but he said he couldn’t because of an ankle monitor. Police told him that he could notify his probation officer tomorrow morning.
Antoniazzi then continued to argue with police and began yelling he would shoot the officers and the victim in the home along with their father. Police believe Antoniazzi was under the influence at the time.
Antoniazzi was then arrested on terroristic threats and placed in the Butler County Prison on $30,000 bail.
