A Kittanning man is facing multiple charges for allegedly falsifying applications for titles and registrations for emergency vehicles.
Police say 22-year-old Austin Ayers faces charges in two separate incidents that happened last year.
In late May, police found Ayers and 23-year-old Ryan Focht of Ellwood City had fraudulently applied for an emergency vehicle registration plate for a Ford Explorer—a vehicle commonly used by police stations.
And then in September, Ayers was charged for fraudulently applying for a duplicate registration plate claiming it was lost.
However, police say they seized the plate the day before.
