A man is in custody after he allegedly stole money from a church donation bin in downtown Butler.
City Police say the burglary happened early Monday morning at St. Paul’s Catholic Church on McKean Street.
Detectives looked at security footage and identified the suspect as 36-year-old Joseph Fee III of Butler.
Fee allegedly entered the church and broke into a donation box, taking $200 to $300.
He’s facing numerous charges including felony burglary. Fee was taken to the Butler County Prison.
