A Northumberland County man is facing charges after sending threatening emails to a man and his wife in Butler Township.
The victims reported to Butler Township Police that 46-year-old Jason Matukaitis of Elysburg has been sending threatening emails starting September of last year until March.
Emails allegedly are threats on the victims’ lives. Matukaitis was asked to stop by but continued to send the threats.
When officers went to his Butler home he could not be found.
Matukaitis has been charged with terroristic threats and harassment, he’s awaiting a preliminary hearing.
