
A Butler man is facing several charges after its alleged he stabbed a passenger in his vehicle and left several bruises on their body.
Just after 8 a.m. Thursday, police received a call for a domestic violence incident and stopped a vehicle being driven by 29-year-old Jase Charlton.
When police approached the car, they saw the victim had bruising along with a stab wound on their leg and neck. When the victim was interviewed by police, they said Charlton held a knife on the victim’s neck and threatened to kill them.
After the threat Charlton stabbed the victim in the leg. The additional bruising is alleged to have been caused by numerous beatings by Charlton.
He’s been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault, and terroristic threats. He has been placed in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 bail as he awaits a preliminary hearing.
