A man from New York is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted and strangled someone at a Forward Township home.
State police were called to a home on Brownsdale Road around 2:30 a.m. yesterday for a reported assault.
After investigating, police found that 57-year-old David Sawyer of New York allegedly hit his girlfriend in the head and then strangled her.
Sawyer then knocked a 65-year-old man in the house to the ground and assaulted a young teen girl while trying to get into her room.
Police say Sawyer resisted arrest before they were finally able to take him into custody.
