A Pittsburgh man has been placed in the Butler County Prison after he allegedly stood outside of another house holding a knife.
State Police were called to a home on the 1300 block of Chicora Road in Donegal Township just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday, for 31-year-old Michael Pistorius.
Pistorius allegedly was standing outside the home wielding a knife threatening to harm the man inside the home. When police arrived on scene Pistorius dropped the knife in his possession and would not give a reason to police as to why he wanted to hurt the victim.
Pistorius has been charged with terroristic threats and loitering and prowling at night time, he’s being held in the prison on $25,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 27.
