A Fenelton man has been accused of attempting to break into a Clearfield Township faith-based recovery center.
On Sunday, police were called to the Hope Center Ministries for reported burglary.
According to State Police, 51-year-old Shane Scott broke into the building through a garage after shutting off the power on the building.
Police say he stole three small safes and four gift cards for a total value of $360. Scott eventually returned one of the safes.
Days before the alleged theft, Scott was removed from the program after being accused of stealing property from another person in the program.
Scott has been charged with, burglary, criminal trespassing, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct.
A warrant for his arrest has been issued.
