A Butler man has been charged with breaking into the West Penn Power building in Butler.
Tuesday morning police were called to the West Penn Power facility on Hansen Avenue for an unknown individual cleaning up spilled coffee in the facility.
An employee in the building found the man cleaning the spill in a safety vest that said First Energy on it. When police approached the man, they claim he was rambling unintelligibly.
Police would identify the man as 24-year-old Michael Garth and place him in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been set for April 21.
