A New Castle man is facing charges after he allegedly tried to steal gas from a local company’s vehicle.
On June 29, Knoechel Heating Company reported to police that an individual attempted to siphon gas out of two company vehicles.
Police say video evidence shows 30-year-old Brandon Snow failing to siphon gas from a vehicle after a garden hose he was using became stuck in a truck. Police estimate Snow was trying to steal about $200 worth of gas.
Snow denies being in the area at that time.
He has been charged with criminal attempt and is awaiting a September 20 preliminary hearing.
