
An Emlenton man is now facing charges after he allegedly threw a hammer through a Washington Township home.
Police were called to a home on the 100 block of Hughes Road on Wednesday just before 5 p.m. for a report of a hammer being thrown through a window.
When police arrived on scene, the victim said he received several threatening voice messages from 31-year-old Austin Scott. Once police left the scene, Scott returned damaging the home, arguing with the victim, and breaking more windows.
He has been charged with two counts of recklessly endangering another person, two counts of Harassment, two counts of disorderly conduct, and more. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for April 22.
