A man is facing charges after he allegedly walked out of a store in the Clearview Mall with a large number of items and did not pay.
On Monday, police were called to Rural King for a retail theft. An employee said the suspect left the store with over $1,700 in items.
The worker chased the man out of the store, which led to the man dropping all the items in the parking lot. The officer was given a picture of the man from security cameras and was able to identify him at the McDonalds nearby.
Police identified the suspect as 39-year-old Kevin Jackson of Coal Township and he was charged with felony retail theft.
Jackson is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
