A Butler man is facing charges after police were called to his home for domestic assault and found crack-cocaine.
Police were called out to an apartment in the 400 block of West North Street in Butler last Thursday for a report of a domestic assault. When police arrived, they found a woman on the ground bleeding.
When police spoke with the woman she accused 27-year-old Justin Thompson of Butler of injuring her. Police were also contacted by a neighbor who was bleeding as well and was the one who called the police. She also alleged that Thompson had assault her.
When police searched Thompson they found several grams of crack-cocaine in his possession. Thompson is currently out on previous possession charges.
He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 bail and is facing several charges including manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and 3 counts of simple assault.
