Police have filed a warrant for the arrest of East Butler man accused of assaulting a former partner.
The incident happened Monday when State Police were called to a home in Center Township for a domestic dispute.
Police say 38-year-old William Milbert Jr. got into an argument with his ex-girlfriend and then choked and assaulted her. Milbert then fled the scene.
He has been charged with strangulation and simple assault and is awaiting a preliminary hearing. A warrant for Milbert’s arrest has been issued.
