A Butler man is facing additional charges for a break-in at a Brady Township home over one year ago.
In May of 2024, 55-year-old Herbert Zellefrow is accused of breaking into a home on the 100 block of McCommons Lane with another man and stealing jewelry, money, guns, and prescription drugs.
Zellefrow is now in the Butler County Prison and is facing additional charges for allegedly being in illegal possession of several firearms as a convicted felon. Zellefrow was found guilty in two home burglaries in Texas in the 1990s.
He is now facing three additional charges of possession of a firearm prohibited and a single charge of criminal conspiracy.
He’s being held on $1 million bond as he awaits a trial.
