An Evans City man has been charged with rape after being accused of assaulting a teen for nearly a decade.
On Thursday, the victim reported to police that 55-year-old Jeffery Girasek groomed the victim since they were 16-years-old.
According to charging documents, the victim has lived with Girasek for the last 24 years and the sexual assaults began when the victim turned 16-or-17-years-old. The two now live together and Girasek claims they are in a relationship.
The victim denied this claim and accused Girasek of controlling her electronics and tracking her movements.
The victim also gave police video evidence of sexual assault.
Girasek has been placed in the Butler County Prison on $250,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 14.
