A Butler man is facing charges after it’s alleged he threatened three people with what the victims thought to be a gun but was an airsoft gun.
On December 9, police were called to a home on the 500 block of West Jefferson Street for an active domestic. When officers arrived on scene the victim said as they were attempting to get some property at the home 27-year-old Zackary Delaney is alleged to have showed a gun on his waist to the three people on scene.
When officers searched Delaney and he did in fact have a gun but it was an airsoft pistol.
The victim attempting to pick up property at the home didn’t press charges but another victim on scene did.
Delaney was charged with terroristic threats and is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
