A Slippery Rock man is facing charges after being accused of strangling a woman in Worth Township.
The incident happened on Sunday night when the victim reported to police that 58-year-old Roman Guadarrama strangled her after an argument.
When officers spoke with the victim, red marks could be seen on the her face.
Guadarrama has been charged with strangulation, simple assault, and harassment and he was placed in the Butler County Prison.
Bail for Guadarrama was set a $15,000 and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for April 22.
