One person has died after a crash Wednesday morning near Ellwood City.
The accident happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Wampum Road in Wayne Township, Lawrence County.
State police say a truck driven by 29-year-old Dale Fey of Bessemer was driving west when he crossed the center line and hit a mini-van driven by 68-year-old Samuel Kelly of Wampum.
Kelly died at the scene as a result of his injuries. Police say he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Fey was taken to UPMC Jameson with minor injuries.
The accident shut down Wampum Road for hours while crews cleared the scene.
