A man died in a house fire Friday night in Lawrence County.
Fire crews were called to the scene of the fire in New Castle at the intersection of Stanton and Marshall Avenues for a fully-involved structure fire.
According to our news partners WPXI, the Lawrence County coroner identified the man killed in the fire as 67-year-old Melvin Jackson.
There was also a man in the basement who was able to escape through a window.
