A man is facing charges after he slapped an employee at a Burger King in Butler Township.
Police say 21-year-old Austin Addison of Lyndora was at the restaurant on New Castle Road back in late June, when he got into an argument with the cashier. Following a number of expletives directed to the employee, Addison then slapped the man across the face.
It’s an incident that has caught the internet’s attention too. A video of the situation was posted to Twitter this week and has already reached over 5 million views.
According to District Magistrate Kevin O’Donnell’s office, Addison waived his preliminary hearing late last month.
