A Karns City man has filed a lawsuit against a business he claims is polluting his property.
According to the suit, James Plunkard claims that Karns City Refining has trespassed on his property both negligently and intentionally, had hazardous materials leaked on to his property, and is violating environmental protection laws.
The suit accuses Karns City Refining of dumping waste into a creek shared by Plunkard and the business.
Plunkard is seeking damages greater than $35,000, plus interest, court costs, attorney fees, and any other damages.
Judge Kelly Streib has been assigned to the case.
