
One man was seriously injured after crashing his car following a police chase earlier this morning near Portersville.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 6:30 a.m. for a vehicle that crashed into a pole at the intersection of Portersville Road (Route 488) and Pleasant Hill Road.
Dispatchers say that vehicle fled the scene and state police were in pursuit.
About 20 minutes later, that vehicle overturned on Portersville Road at McClymonds Lane. Dispatchers say the vehicle was on its side, with a man underneath the car.
A medical helicopter was called to the Portersville fire station.
