A Butler man found guilty of third-degree murder will be sentenced in a Butler County Courtroom this morning.
A jury found 29-year-old Nathan Michael guilty of shooting and killing 38-year-old Joseph Derenzo at a home in Butler Township following an argument. Michael claimed he shot Derenzo in self-defense.
Sentencing is scheduled for 10 a.m. the minimum sentence for third degree murder is 10 years.
