One man is in custody after a stabbing in the City of Butler.
Police say the assault happened Wednesday evening around 5:15 p.m. near the intersection of Franklin Street and WISR Way.
When police got on scene they found 54-year-old Lee Hockenberry and 40-year-old Preston Bartmas, both of Butler. Police say Hockenberry went to Bartmas’ home and got into an argument.
Hockenberry then allegedly stabbed Bartmas several times, including in his head.
Both were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for their injuries and are in stable condition.
Hockenberry was then taken to the Butler County Prison and charged with felony assault.
