An Ellwood City man was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in northern Butler County.
The accident happened last Friday around 8:45 p.m. in Slippery Rock Township on Franklin Road at the intersection with Branchton Road.
Police say 52-year-old Peter DelBoverlando was helping direct traffic from a prior crash when he was hit by car driven by 57-year-old Matthrew Crayne.
He was taken to Grove City Hospital for suspected injuries.
Crayne was cited by police.
