A Forward Township man is out thousands in unemployment claims following a scam.
State police say an unknown suspect from New York opened an unemployment claim for a local 58-year-old man. That resulted in the man losing all of his unemployment payments, causing an estimated loss of $2,500.
Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-284-8100.
