A man who stole from a church in Butler pled guilty to the theft late last week.
In December 2024, police accused 36-year-old Thomas Fee III of breaking into a St. Paul’s Catholic Church on McKean Street.
Fee was accused of breaking into the Church and breaking the donation box, stealing between $200 to $300.
Fee has now pled guilty to vandalism of a Place of Worship and theft by unlawful taking.
Fee will serve three years of probation, pay $2,635 in fees and restitution, and the sentencing is concurrent with other plea agreements Fee has reached with the District Attorney’s Office.
