More information is being released on a dramatic rescue after a crash in Forward Township.
The accident happened yesterday morning around 7:30 a.m. on Brownsdale Road, in between Evans City Road and Tunnel Road.
A car lost control and crashed, which soon led to the vehicle catching on fire, but one man was still inside.
Evans City firefighters say a bystander took a trailer hitch off his car and knocked out a window to help the man escape. There was also a bus driver named Gene from the Seneca Valley School District, who pulled over and used his fire extinguisher to help put out the fire.
The driver was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital with head and leg injuries.
