A Butler man accused of an armed robbery in the City of Butler earlier this year was sentenced after pleading no contest to one of the charges.
In January, police arrested 36-year-old Andrew Martin in connection to an armed robbery that took place on the 300 block of North Main Street.
According to charging documents, Martin approached the victim with a hidden gun and demanded money.
On Thursday, Martin pled no contest to one count of terroristic threats.
He was sentenced to 5 to 23 months and 15 days in prison, but due to time served Martin was paroled at sentencing.
Martin will also have to complete 40 hours of community service and pay a $1000 fine, along with the cost of prosecution.
