A Butler man has been sentenced for a stabbing that happened over a year ago in Butler Township.
On Thursday, 18-year-old Hunter Ferrer-Anderson was sentenced for a March 2025 stabbing that took place in Benevan Square on New Castle Road.
Ferrer-Anderson pled guilty to one count of aggravated assault and three other misdemeanor charges were dropped.
He was sentenced to one to two years in prison, 48 months of probation, and 50 hours of community service. The sentencing allowed Ferrer-Anderson to complete the final six months of confinement on electrical monitoring.
Ferrer-Anderson will also have to pay $9,338 in fines, fees, restitution, and cost of prosecution.
