A Parker man accused of breaking into a Butler City home last year pled guilty and was sentenced late last week.
In October 2025, police were called to the 200 block of East Walnut Street for two people breaking into a home. Police charged 19-year-old Savannah Rogers and 28-year-old Jonathan Tacey for the break-in.
On Friday, Tacey pled guilty to burglary and resisting arrest and was sentenced to 7 to 23 months and 15 days in prison along with two years of probation upon his release.
He will also have to pay $1,721 in fines, fees, and cost of prosecution.
Rogers who was also charged for this break-in is awaiting trial.
