A local man has been sentenced after a conviction of violating federal gun and drug laws over three years ago.
Department of Justice officials say 44-year-old Darnell Wynn, formerly of State Street in Butler, will serve 15 years of imprisonment for possessing more than 100 grams of heroin and more than 10 grams of fentanyl in February of 2021.
Wynn was also in possession of a handgun and ammunition in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. As a convicted felon, Wynn is not permitted to possess a firearm.
