A Pittsburgh man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to federal contraband charges that occurred at the Butler County Jail.
31-year-old Lajwan McMillan will serve an additional five months in prison on a conviction for possession of contraband by an inmate.
The Department of Justice says three days after he was sentenced to 18 months incarceration for violating conditions of his federal supervised release, McMillan was found to be in possession of a cell phone while an inmate at the Butler County Jail.
The Butler County Detective Bureau and officials at the Butler County Jail assisted the U.S. Marshals Service during this investigation.
