Police are providing more information on a motorcycle crash over the weekend in Penn Township.
The accident happened Saturday around noon on Route 8 South near Old Plank Road.
State police say 21-year-old Ehab Elhaj of Sharon was driving south when he lost control of his motorcycle. He then jumped off the bike, which went over 700 feet before stopping near Renfrew Road.
Elhaj meanwhile rolled and slid nearly 400 feet on Route 8 and finally stopped on the Route 8 bridge.
Elhaj suffered serious injuries and was flown to a Pittsburgh trauma center.
Police say he was wearing a helmet and safety equipment.
