The markets have been strong the past week as the end of the year holiday spending creeps up.
Local financial advisor Howie Pentony says this is normal during the final months.
“This time of the year in November, markets should be rallying. So this is not unusual at all and the economic news has been good so it’s doing exactly what it should be doing at this point,” Pentony said.
The strong finish is keeping with the trends of a solid year for the markets according to Pentony.
“It’s been interesting, the market has been on a tear. It’s up five or six percent at the end of last week,” Pentony said. “So, it’s really been doing well.”
Pentony is the founder of Pentony Capital Management in Portersville.
